The mission of the Nebraska
Society of dispensing Opticians is to provide quality continuing
education and promote the professionalism and skills of Opticianry
for our members and the patients we serve.
The NSDO was organized
1963 by fellow opticians who recognized the need to improve and
promote the welfare of dispensing opticians. to protect the public
against unscrupulous practices in Opthalmic dispensing, to provide
quality continuing education and to instill mutual understanding
and friendship among opticians.
We encourage you to become actively involved in the Society by
joining our Society. We can use your input in how we can better
serve Opticianary. We feel that you will get out of any Organization
is proportionate to what you put into your Organization.
